A sudden drop in visibility has forced Delhi airport authorities to divert three passenger aircraft to nearby aerodromes while some 26 flights were delayed on account of bad weather.

Two flights have been diverted to other airports due to a sudden fall in the visibility and some 26 flights also failed to take off or depart on their schedule time on account of poor visibility.

The minimum visibility required for CAT III landing at the Delhi airport is 75 meters and for low visibility take-off Operations (LVTO) is 125 meters.
